| Password protection | ||||
On every start of the program the password is requested. According to your requirements you may log in as administrator or as guest. This prevents unauthorized use of important features as well as of the whole program. Also the downloaded data is protected with a CRC checksum against manipulation.

Various kinds of reports are offered with this software:

| Modem transfer | ||||
The built in modem transfer feature allows you to transfer the recorded data from different sites into the central station. This gives you the possibility to evaluate and print the reports in the central station.

| Log file | ||||
Whenever the program transfers data it tracks this activity in the log file. Viewing this file helps you to detect what has happened and whether a battery needs to be changed.

| DAU utility | ||||
Besides others, the built in functionality can be used to indicate the battery status, to set the DAU (Data Aquisition Unit) identification, as well as the date and time of the DAU.

| Multi user ability | ||||
WinArgus can be installed on a network server. E. g. this makes it possible to download the data in the watchman’s room and to view the reports on different computer in the supervisors office.
